Most watches have a spring bar on each side, which is slid into the strap and clamped between the watch case&#039;s brackets. The term &quot;spring bar&quot; derives from its mechanism. In order to be clamped between the watch case&#039;s brackets and locked into place, it must be able to contract like a mechanical spring. Every spring bar possesses this basic mechanism.<\/p><p>There are now three different ways to remove a spring bar from a watch case \u2013 depending on the type of bar or the way it is attached to the case. Using the tool from our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vild-shop.com\/en\/instructions-for-changing-watch-strap\/vildshopnew3.wpmojster.de\/\"><b>Watch strap shop<\/b><\/a>\u00a0You can easily change the strap using any of these three methods. Most commonly used fastening<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7770a5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-wd_text_block\" data-id=\"b7770a5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"wd_text_block.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wd-text-block reset-last-child text-left\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>The traditional and therefore most common way in which\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vild-shop.com\/en\/product-category\/all-watch-straps\/\"><b>Watch straps<\/b><\/a>\u00a0from the watch case can be removed using a tool as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The flat, fork-like side of the spring bar tool is placed between the case and the bracelet.<\/li>\n<li>The spring bar is then pushed (contracted) towards the side of the bracelet until it pops out of the hole.<\/li>\n<li>Now the watch strap is already loose, as shown in the picture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new bracelet is also inserted using the spring bar tool:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The spring bar should first be removed from the previously attached watch strap and inserted into the new strap. Fastening with holes on the outside of the watch case<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1870beb elementor-widget elementor-widget-wd_text_block\" data-id=\"1870beb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"wd_text_block.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wd-text-block reset-last-child text-left\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>On some watches, the holes for the spring bars extend through the case, making them visible from the outside. The biggest difference from variant 1 is the way the spring bar can be removed from the holder:<\/p><ul><li>To remove the watch strap from its holder, you&#039;ll need the pointed end of the spring bar tool. Use this end to press into one of the holes on the outside of your watch case (see image) until the spring bar pops out of its holder.<\/li><\/ul><p>To insert the new strap, proceed as described in step 1. It&#039;s important that you use the existing spring bars for your new watch strap, as they usually differ slightly from conventional spring bars. The biggest difference from variant 1 is the way the spring bar can be removed from the holder:<\/p><ul><li>To remove the watch strap from its holder, you&#039;ll need the pointed end of the spring bar tool. Use this end to press into one of the holes on the outside of your watch case (see image) until the spring bar pops out of its holder.<\/li><\/ul><p>To insert the new strap, proceed as described in step 1. It&#039;s important that you use the existing spring bars for your new watch strap, as they usually differ slightly from conventional spring bars. Fastening with quick-change spring bar<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-58c5e96 elementor-widget elementor-widget-wd_text_block\" data-id=\"58c5e96\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"wd_text_block.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wd-text-block reset-last-child text-left\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Quick-change bars are becoming increasingly popular and are being used more frequently in newer watch models. Even premium brands like Nomos Glash\u00fctte now use this quick-change system as standard. It&#039;s essentially just a conventional spring bar attachment, except that this spring bar has a protruding pin (see spring bar in the picture).<\/p>\n<p>What&#039;s special about these quick-change spring bars is that they allow for even faster strap changes and require separate holes or cutouts in the strap (see image). Changing the watch strap is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To release the bracelet, simply slide the visible pin of the spring bar to the side.<\/li>\n<li>Now you can slide the spring bar out of the strap. Make sure the pin doesn&#039;t get stuck in the band&#039;s recess.
