Nato Straps

These straps have become a popular trend among modern watches. They are now available in many different colors and designs. In addition, they are extremely functional and quickly replaceable. Some people also prefer these straps because they largely prevent direct skin contact with the metals in the watch case. They are made of nylon and therefore very robust and skin-friendly. The material of our Nato straps is perfect for higher demands, such as for sports or even for swimming. The buckles and rings of our bracelets are made of polished stainless steel and are of high grade. The edges of the ribbons are sealed with a laser that effectively prevents individual yarns from breaking loose. Our Nylon Straps are available in the contemporary colours blue, grey or black.

The Nato Strap has its origin in the military use, but it does not come from the NATO itself. The extremely robust woven nylon withstands heavy stress without risk of tearing out the spring bars. In addition, it does not reflect like a steel bracelet and is therefore much better suited for military operations. For these reasons, among others, the bracelets were declared the standard for watches of soldiers by the British Ministry of Defence in 1973. The name Nato Band or Strap originated later from the military coding of the strap.
